Soybean Trait Updates

Feb 09, 2021

As we start thinking about spring planting, some things get overlooked.

Making sure we/you are up to date on the traits of beans you are planting and spraying and some of the trainings that we need are a few things we want to ensure does not get overlooked.

One new thing in 2021 for spraying Xtend® trait beans is that endangered species counties have been added to the label in South Dakota and North Dakota.  These counties include Brookings, Brown, Clark, Codington, Day, Deuel, Grant, Hamlin, Marshall, and Roberts in South Dakota and Bottineau, McHenry, McLean, Richland, Sargent, Stutsman, and Ward in North Dakota. Please pay special attention to the additional requirements of this during the dicamba applicator training.

Two new things that are required for XtendiMax® and Engenia® herbicide are added pH mix +VaporGrip® Xtra Agent used with XtendiMax® +Sentris™ Buffering Technology.

Applicator Training is required for all people that spray Xtend® traited soybeans. See links below for applicator training information.
