Sending Mail is a Hug in an Envelope

Britton-Hecla Students Send Thanks

After donating tickets to the Yelduz Shrine Circus in Aberdeen, SD on March 29 - 31, we received many thank you notes from students at the Britton-Hecla Elementary School. These students, as well as their teachers, might not think that this "Thank You" card assignment was very important, but it means the world to us. To know that these students truly appreciate the fact that we helped give them the opportunity to attend such a fun event is inspiring. To also know that the teachers in our schools are instilling valuable lessons, such as appreciation and gratitude, is reassuring. Those lessons will follow our children throughout their entire adulthood. With all of the negativity that goes on in our world, getting a "hug" in the mail is something that we do not take for granted.

And so to the teachers, students, guardians, and parents that are helping to raise these children to be gracious: We thank you.
