Meet: Russell Wright, Sales Agronomist/Seed Procurement Manager

If you’re looking for someone who has over 30 years of experience in the agronomy sector, you’re in the right place. Russell Wright, Sales Agronomist/Seed Procurement Manager, has been with Full Circle Ag for over 26 years. He was previously a sales agronomist in Wisconsin for 4 years. Russell received a bachelor’s degree in Ag Business with a minor in Agronomy from SDSU and has earned an Elite Seller award from WinField United for selling seed for over 20 years.

Russell has always been highly motivated to contribute to our customers’ success in any way he can.  “I enjoy seeing the producers succeed, whether it is exceeding yield goals from trying something new, troubleshooting a problem, or understanding what is happening on their farm.” Russell became Full Circle Ag’s Seed Procurement Manager in August, in addition to his sales role, and has done a great job at leading our seed sales team.

“Russ is an agronomy expert who brings a consistent ‘get it done’ attitude to serving our members.  Known as one of Full Circle Ag’s seed gurus, Russ is always willing to provide insights and take on leadership roles to drive the success of our entire organization. The fact that he is a huge Jackrabbit fan just reinforces the positive traits he brings to our team.  Sorry Bison fans!  Russ is a true joy to have on the team.” Jeff Thaler, CEO

In his spare time, Russell enjoys spending time with family, whether it is watching them perform at rodeos or snowmobiling in the Black Hills. We are fortunate to have Russell on our team and look forward to seeing what 2021 brings.
