Meet the Team: Amy Samson

Meet: Amy Samson, Pierpont Agronomy Location Bookkeeper

Amy Samson has been our Pierpont Agronomy Location Bookkeeper for over five years. Amy graduated with a B.S. in Psychology and Sociology. After college, she worked at Sanford in Aberdeen as a Patient Access Representative. Her plan was to continue her education by attending grad school, but plans changed when she married a farmer, moved to the area, and started working at Full Circle Ag in Pierpont. Not having experience in the agronomy sector, Amy caught on very quickly and has since been involved in several different aspects of the co-op, including the Safety Committee and the Marketing Team.

“Over the years, I have gotten to know the employees and our growers on a personal level and that really motivates me to do what I can to help them. This is a unique and special community, and I am so thankful to be a part of it. I never saw myself being in agronomy since my plan was always to go to grad school and move to the city. Now that I am a part of it, I cannot see myself being anywhere else. I have never regretted making that decision.”

Matt Nelson, Pierpont Manager, comments, “Amy is a great employee to have here in Pierpont. Her attention to detail is something that does not go unnoticed. She keeps us all in line and we are very fortunate to have her!”

In addition to her full-time job with us here at Full Circle Ag, Amy and her husband also farm and have a farm supply business. They have two small boys that love living on the farm. She has been the Eden Township Treasurer for over four years and loves every second of it. When she gets some free time, she loves to go camping with friends and family. Taking the boys on little adventures around the farm and doing anything outdoors is something that Amy tries to do every chance she gets.

Amy is an asset to Full Circle Ag. Be sure to stop in and say "Hi!" if you are ever in Pierpont.
