Hecla Fertilizer Plant Update

The fertilizer project has had a few setbacks due to the weather but is still on track to be operational in the spring of 2026. 

Here are a few updates completed recently!

1. Electrical lines and transformers are in place to provide temporary power and eventually permanent power to the plant.

2. The soil correction has been completed by digging down 11’ to replace the native soil with a more stable clay/dirt mix.

3. The process of forming the footings is being completed now for a cement pour in the coming days.

4. The footings will be completed at the same time the foundation for the tower is completed.
