Four Students Awarded Careers in Agriculture Scholarships

This year's Full Circle Ag Careers in Agriculture Scholarship Program awarded four students with scholarships. With an emphasis on an agricultural field of study, this year's recipients were also chosen on demonstrated leadership skills and references from their respective academic instructors.

As part of the application process, these students were also asked to submit a short essay on why cooperatives are important to agriculture and why they are interested in agriculture as a career. This annual scholarship program is just one way for us to focus on developing future cooperative leaders. The four selected students awarded this year are listed below with the college they are attending and/or plan to attend.

Congratulations to the following 2019 Careers in Ag scholarship recipients!
We wish them all the best in their future career endeavors.

How to Apply

Scholarship Eligibility
Applicants must live within the Full Circle Ag trade territory to be eligible. Students pursuing a two-year or four-year degree in agronomy or related crop production, or closely related fields are eligible to apply. The Careers in Ag Scholarship is available to high school seniors graduating in 2019 as well as students currently enrolled in college in a two-year or four-year relevant program.

How the Selection Process Works
All applicants are critically evaluated using a combination of several criteria including, but not limited to, scholastic achievement, leadership in agriculture, perceived ability to contribute to agriculture in the future, and future career goals.

A selection committee will closely evaluate the applications and select those that meet the qualifications required.
