Committed to your animal nutrition needs

Full Circle Ag is the home for all your Purina Animal Nutrition needs. Whether it be cattle, horse, or chicken, it’s backed by the quality that is the Checkboard.

In 1916, Purina founded their research center so they had a place to continue studies and develop a quality feed. Today the Purina Animal Research Center continues to thrive and has grown substantially in size.  It is now a 1,200-acre farm located in Grey Summit, Missouri which sits just south of St. Louis.  It is currently home to 3,000 animals and about 100 employees, who continue to test how ingredients are digested and how they work with digestibility in each animal.  Over 110 patents have been created over the years for different species.  On the cattle side of the farm, Purina was the first to come up with creep feeds and intake-limiting technology, which have been implemented into many farms in the area.  Accuration and Ration Manager can be used in self-feeders to allow cattle to eat multiple mini meals throughout the day to provide optimal gain.

With 3 different feedlots and 150 brood cows on 12 different pastures, Purina has the ability to test every product before it is put into production.  Throughout the year tours are provided at the Purina Animal Research Center, to allow producers to see a glimpse of what our staff is working on and what is behind the Check-R-Board and all it stands for.

So, whether you are looking for minerals or supplementation for your cattle year-round, or need creep feed for those calves during summer months; just give us a call and we can provide what’s best for your operation.
