Weekly Insights - July 20, 2018

Good morning to all. As I sit here trying to decide what to talk about this week, a thunderstorm is circling down out of ND and it looks to be an all day rain.

Geopolitical news has been a market driver again this week. On Tuesday, the markets had another large selloff but since then have managed to claw their way back by a couple of pennies. In conversing with one of my marketers this morning, we discussed fall diesel supply. At this time, diesel is at the bottom of the five year average supply band. Prices are also as cheap as they have been since the April-May timeframe. If you are in need of FM diesel to get through the fall harvest, it may be a good time to lay some in. As of right now, supply is not an issue but if the whole country waits till October to fill, it may become one.

In the propane arena, our drivers are doing summer fills and service techs are doing safety checks which include possible regulator replacement and/or leak checks on your propane system. Breon has mentioned finding a leak or two will happen over time. If you have not had your system looked at in the last 10-15 years, please give us a call. It is for your safety; as well as ours. We would like to be doing business with you well into the future.

Have a good weekend and thanks for your patronage.
